StopIranWar.com is a curated, verified, daily-updating information hub for the 2026 Iran conflict. We aggregate news from multiple sources, present multiple perspectives side-by-side, and flag AI-generated or unverified content.
We are not a news outlet. We are a curation and verification layer on top of existing journalism. We link to and credit original sources for everything we publish.
What We Do
- Aggregate — We pull from BBC, Al Jazeera, Reuters, NPR, and other major outlets, filtering for Iran conflict coverage.
- Verify — We flag AI-generated images, misattributed footage, and unverified claims using a combination of automated tools and human review.
- Contextualize — We present the same events through different media perspectives (Western, Iranian/regional, independent) so readers can see framing differences.
- Track — We monitor economic impact (oil prices, food prices, currency collapse) alongside human costs.
Our Sources
We currently aggregate from:
- BBC News — Middle East RSS feed
- Al Jazeera — Full RSS feed, filtered for Iran content
Phase 1 will add Reuters, NPR, GDELT conflict data, EIA oil prices, FRED economic data, and YouTube news channels.
Methodology
Verification Confidence Scale
All content on this site carries a verification status:
- Confirmed — Multiple independent sources, geolocated, temporally verified
- Likely — Single credible source, plausible but not independently confirmed
- Unverified — Circulating, source unknown or unconfirmed
- Disputed — Conflicting reports from credible sources
- Debunked — Confirmed fake or misattributed, with evidence
Editorial Principles
- We do not editorialize about which side is “right”
- We do not suppress verified information because it is inconvenient to any narrative
- We present multiple source perspectives side-by-side
- We label state media from all sides (US government, Israeli government, Iranian government)
- We distinguish between verified facts, unverified reports, and analysis
AI Content Detection
We use automated AI detection tools (Hive Moderation API) to screen submitted images for AI-generated content. All automated flags are reviewed by a human before being published as debunked. We never publish a “debunked” verdict without human verification.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not produce original reporting
- We do not have reporters on the ground
- We do not fabricate data or statistics
- We do not accept payments from any government

Privacy
- We use Plausible Analytics — no cookies, no personal data collection, GDPR compliant
- We do not log IP addresses on submission endpoints
- We strip all EXIF/GPS metadata from user-submitted images before storing
